Well I don’t know how accurate the movie about Andy was but according to the movie Andy hated Taxi and didn’t care when it got canceled. Again I don’t know how accurate the movie is.

I’m not sure when this episode was aired (Taxi was on from 1978 – 1983), but it sounds much like the “that’s all I need” routine from “The Jerk” (1979), one certainly influenced the other . . . and both are hilarious!
